හීන වලට පණක්, a musical concert, took place on Friday May 26, 2023 evening at Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre to raise funds to purchase essential medicine for cancer patients who are undergoing treatments at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
Further, හීන වලට පණක් concert was not just aimed to raise funds to the Apeksha Hospital but also sought to promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as per the guidance of the President of Management and Science University (MSU) & Management and Science Institute (MSI) Prof. Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid and Vice Chancellor of MSU Prof. Dr. Juniainah Abd Hamid. This contribution will undoubtedly make a significant impact on lives of the patients who are battling against the cancer decease, providing them with a new hope.
හීන වලට පණක් was organized by the students of Diploma in Event Management programme at MSI, as a practical work of their study programme, under the leadership of Mr. Suranga Tennakoon, the Lecturer – in – Charge. They worked tirelessly demonstrating power of unity and compassion which endorsed the success of the හීන වලට පණක්.
