Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia gracefully held its 30th Convocation with a total of 2,373 graduates from 117 programme of studies were received their respective scrolls at the event, 19 graduates received Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Masters (35), Bachelor’s Degree (1,580) and Diplomas (739) on 3 December 2022.
Present to grace the 30th MSU Convocation Ceremony was the MSU Chancellor, Raja Muda of Kedah His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin. Also in attendance were MSU President, Prof. Dr. Mohd Shukri, MSU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Junainah Abd Hamid, and the University’s senior management.
Five special award categories of excellence were also given to 65 graduates in recognition of their overall achievements during their studies from among the graduating Class of 2022.
Management & Science University (MSU), Malaysia has established the Management & Science Institutes (MSI) in Colombo to create better opportunities for Sri Lankan students to obtain an excellent education in Sri Lanka. MSU is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka as well as its MBBS programme has recognized by Sri Lankan Medical Council (SLMC).
The research-based PhD programme offered by MSU is meet the international standards by complementing the thesis work with a minimum of three journal publications. The programme consists of a systematic evaluation system of developing the best academic, analytical and research skills starting from a (1) Defense of Proposal, (2) Thesis Work Completion Seminar and (3) the Final Defense of VIVA. A Malaysian supervisor who is assigned by the university and the Academic advisors guides the PhD candidates. Monthly progress monitoring and all exams are conducted by MSU Malaysia.

Besides the incorporating international exposure in the students learning experience, extensive industrial training components and personal enrichment competency elements are also blended into the programme of study to ensure the graduates employability.
Students who successfully their completed Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, Biomedical Science, Event Management programmes though MSI and the bachelor’s in hospitality & Tourism Management (Hons), bachelor’s in international business (Hons), Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) and Bachelor in Event Management (Hons) programmes through MSI Colombo was graduated in this convocation ceremony.Management and Science University (MSU) is a QS and multi-global-ranked institution focused on building holistic human capital. A graduate tracer study conducted by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education shows a97.5 percent employability rate of graduates entering the work environment.
